Have questions about how to play Oz Lotto? We’ve got everything you need to know right here.
What is Oz Lotto?
Introduced in 1994, Oz Lotto was Australia’s first national lotto game, and has remained popular thanks to its large jackpots. The largest Oz Lotto jackpot to date was $100,000,000 in December 2013, where 1 in 3 Australian adults purchased a ticket.
In Oz Lotto there is a single barrel of 47 balls numbered from 1 to 47.
9 balls are drawn at random from 45 balls numbered 1 to 45. The first 7 balls are the winning numbers and the final 2 balls are the supplementary numbers. These supplementary numbers are used to determine prizes in Divisions 2, 4 and 7.
