MasterCard has recently changed how they accept transactions for gambling and lottery merchants. This change requires a CVC number to be manually entered into all transactions.
Due to these changes, PayPal cannot process gambling and lottery transactions without the CVC entered.
All merchants classified under merchant category codes (MCC) 7995 and 9406 are impacted by this change, including www.oz.lotterywest.com
How can I use PayPal?
If you use a MasterCard in PayPal you will need to enter the CVC number into every purchase through the PayPal modal. PayPal will prompt you to enter the CVC when you check out. For more information, please review this article - How do I use PayPal to deposit withdraw funds
Can I use PayPal for AutoPlay purchases?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer PayPal as a payment method for new AutoPlay purchases. We will continue to support existing AutoPlay purchases funded by PayPal, however, if you are using a MasterCard you will need to change your payment method to a Visa card or linked bank account in PayPal.
Why has PayPal declined my AutoPlay purchase?
Due to MasterCard changes, if you attempt to use a MasterCard in PayPal for recurring purchases like AutoPlay, PayPal will hard decline the transaction.
To continue using PayPal for AutoPlay, you can change your payment method to a Visa card or linked bank account from within PayPal.
How can I purchase an AutoPlay if I can’t use PayPal?
You can make an AutoPlay purchase by using a Visa card or your secure www.oz.lotterywest.com account. If you don’t have available funds in your www.oz.lotterywest.com e-wallet, you can deposit more by using a MasterCard, Visa, PayPal, BPAY or direct deposit. What are my payment options?
